Do you provide moving services?

No. We rent, deliver, and pick up reusable moving totes. Customers handle their own packing and moving or hire a separate moving company if desired.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

No, but we recommend it so we can place the totes exactly where you'd like them. If you can't be home, just leave instructions in the special instructions field on your reservation and we'll drop them in a safe, accessible spot at your delivery address.

Do I need to be home for pickup?

No. You don't need to be home for pickup as long as the totes and dollies are stacked together in an accessible location at your pickup address, typically by the front door, in the garage, or on the porch.

Can delivery and pickup addresses be different?

Yes. Your delivery and pickup addresses can be different, that's a normal moving day. Both addresses must be within our service area: Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Fruitport, or Norton Shores.

How long is the rental period, and can I extend it?

Every rental includes up to 14 days of use. Need more time? Additional weeks are $25 each, subject to availability. Contact us before your scheduled pickup date and we'll arrange the extension.

Do I save money if I return the totes early?

No. All packages include up to 14 days at the same flat rate. Whether you need the totes for 3 days or the full 14 days, the price remains the same.

What happens if a tote or dolly is lost or damaged?

Accepted Answer

Normal wear and tear, minor scratches, scuffs, tape residue, and dirt from regular moving use, is expected and never charged. Customers are only responsible for items lost or damaged beyond use. Replacement fees are $20 per tote and $40 per dolly.

What if weather delays delivery?

We monitor the forecast closely. If severe weather makes delivery or pickup unsafe, we'll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule at no extra charge. A little rain doesn't stop us, but your safety and your belongings always come first.

What if I move outside the service area?

Both your delivery and pickup addresses must be within our service area, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Fruitport, or Norton Shores. If your new home is outside the area, contact us before booking and we can talk through options like a meet-up at the service area boundary.

How much can each tote hold?

Each tote holds approximately 27 gallons and is designed for household items, clothing, kitchen supplies, toys, decorations, books, and most moving needs. The durable plastic construction helps protect contents better than cardboard boxes during a move.

Why are totes better than boxes?

Accepted Answer

Reusable plastic totes are stronger, stack uniformly, snap shut without tape, and need no assembly. You pack faster, your belongings stay better protected, and there's zero cardboard waste to break down or recycle when you're done.

Do I need to clean the totes?

Accepted Answer

No. Just empty them and leave any tape residue or minor dirt, that's normal wear and tear. We sanitize every tote between rentals so you get clean, ready-to-use totes with every delivery.

How far in advance should I reserve?

The minimum lead time is 3 days. We recommend reserving 2–3 weeks ahead, especially for weekends in summer when moving demand peaks across the West Michigan Lakeshore. Last-minute reservations are accepted when inventory allows.
