Terms of Service

These Terms apply to all rentals from West Michigan Moving Totes LLC. Please read them before reserving your totes.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your rental of reusable moving totes, lids, and tote dollies from West Michigan Moving Totes LLC ("we," "us," or "our") through https://wmmtotes.com. By reserving or using our equipment, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service area

We deliver and pick up only within Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Fruitport, and Norton Shores. Both your delivery and pickup addresses must fall inside this service area. Reservations with addresses outside the service area may be cancelled and refunded.

3. Reservations and payment

Full payment is due at the time of booking. Inventory is limited and reservations are first come, first served. We recommend booking at least three days in advance. Last-minute reservations may be accepted based on availability.

4. Rental period

Up to 14 days included, starting on your delivery date. Additional weeks are $25 each, subject to availability, and must be requested before your scheduled pickup date.

5. Delivery and pickup

We deliver Monday through Friday between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexible scheduling on Saturday and Sunday. You do not need to be present, but you are responsible for providing access instructions and an accessible drop-off and pickup location. Equipment left in inaccessible locations on the scheduled pickup date may incur additional retrieval fees.

6. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for the totes and dollies from the time they are delivered until they are picked up. Please keep them dry where possible, do not exceed reasonable weight limits, and do not use them to transport hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable materials.

7. Wear and tear vs. replacement

Normal wear and tear, minor scratches, scuffs, tape residue, dust, and routine moving marks, is expected and never charged. Replacement fees apply only to equipment lost or damaged beyond normal use: $20 per tote and $40 per dolly.

8. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellations made 7 or more days before delivery receive a 100% refund. Cancellations 3–6 days before delivery receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of delivery are non-refundable. One free date change is included if requested more than 72 hours before delivery; additional changes are subject to availability.

9. Weather and unforeseen events

We may reschedule deliveries or pickups when severe weather makes service unsafe. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to arrange a new time at no additional charge.

10. Limitation of liability

West Michigan Moving Totes LLC is not responsible for damage to the contents of the totes, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our equipment. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected rental.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the effective date below. Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
